Information we process

We process your shop identifier, domain, store name, product identifiers and titles, product types and availability, guide content, reusable modules, publication history, Page links, and your App plan status. Shopify credentials are encrypted in our database and used only to provide the installed service.

Carevuo does not request customer, order, inventory or payment-card access. Do not include customer personal information in care guides or internal notes. Public guide content is visible on your Shopify Pages; internal notes are excluded from publication.

How information is used

We use this information to authenticate the shop, provide editing and publishing, link guides to products, verify App plan access, prevent conflicting Page updates, and recover interrupted operations. We do not sell personal information or use guide content for advertising.

Service providers and hosting

The service uses Shopify for authentication, Pages and App billing, and DigitalOcean for hosting in Singapore. Service providers process the information required to deliver these functions. Information may be processed outside your country.

Retention and deletion

Workspace records remain while the app is installed, until you remove them. Operational activity records are retained for seven days. Uninstalling the app clears its local guide content, modules, links, job records and encrypted sessions once the authenticated uninstall event is processed. A minimal shop record, event receipt and one-way deletion marker remain to prevent replay and accidental recovery. Shopify Pages are preserved and remain under your control.

Automated database backups are not enabled on this development deployment. Any future restore procedure must apply current deletion records before serving requests.

Your choices

You can export the workspace as JSON on every plan, remove local guides, disconnect a Page, or uninstall through Shopify Admin. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or to ask about your applicable privacy rights. We verify the requesting shop before acting.

Security and changes

We use HTTPS, encrypted credentials, authenticated webhook verification, shop-specific access checks and limited API scopes. Policy changes will appear here with an updated effective date.

Your content stays yours

Cancelling an App plan, uninstalling Carevuo, or deleting a local guide does not delete your published Shopify Pages.
